Childrens right in property of father

(Querist) 19 May 2015 This query is : Resolved
Rajan's father had given a piece of land to him as family share. Rajan had given the same wholly to one of his son only out of 6 children.

Please tell me whether remain the 5 children would have any right on their father's property? Can the children demand their portion from their father as it was transferred from grand father?

How was this property acquired by Grandfather: self acquired, ancestral?

How was the property given by Grandfather to father ,by father to son e.g. Gift Deed,WILL etc?

How did Rajan's father acquire that property?, if it was ancestral property given as share to his son, then Rajan's father is liable to share his property with remaining children too, if it is not, the other children do not have a claim in it for a share as a right.
