Your quarry is not clear. On what ground the High court remain closed. If there is strike of advocates it is illegal to close the court.

I don't think without any reason the institution may remain close.

The Madras High Court and all subordinates Courts in Tamil Nadu has been closed till 24-02-2009. I think this is the first time in the history that the entire Courts in Tamil Nadu are closed as a result of unprecedented violence unleashed by the men in khaki on high court judges, lawyers, litigant public, staff of high court etc. It is unfortunate that even LCI members have not discussed much on the issue or aired their views.

The entire issue was so shocking and inhumane. Moreover the news articles published in various news papers are so contradictory and does not throw light over the real facts.
