Hi, What is the difference between Company Application Matter and Company Petition. When are they filed. What subject matters?

Dear Sir, I am new to company matters. It would be extremely useful to understand these differences, a new laywer is lot, there is no clear book which explains different kinds of case description, like CRC, LRRP, TOS. We get lost.
Or can you direct to some good reference which can help us to understand

LRRP. =Land Reforms Revision Petition.
P.C P.= Probate Civil Petition.
TOS. Testamentary Original Suit.
In Which High Court you practice? Go with the rules.
