Compromise agreement

(Querist) 29 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
During a proceedings against a builder of one of my houses in civil court, I gave a chance to the builder to have a out side court compromise. He feeling that his case is weak agreed to pay a sum of Rs 1,00,000;the compromise was that I will not file any complaint against him in court over the short comings in construction of the house and it will be settled mutually.
However after six months of the compromise the builder was not responding to my calls and his office was locked. I gave a police complaint. The inspector advised me that the builders firm is no more functioning and the builder is absconding.
What can be my next move? File a writ making police as party to find the builder? What way the writ can be?

You have wasted lots of time. Six months!!!!
Now you simply waste more time and money in finding the builder.
