Dear sir,
Why computer generated documents do not
require signeture?How those documents
can be proved in courts?does Indian evidence Act has any provision in this
regard?
Regards.

The printing being regulated and access is also given to the person to see the transactions therefore the reverification may not be necessary. It is admissible under the evidence act, if Bank, the Bankers Book Evidecne is covering these things.

Yes.Section 3 of Evidence Act. It was amended.electronic record etc have the same meaning as in IT Act.
Adv.Shine Thomas (Expert) 19 September 2008
Sec.4 of the IT Act equates electronic recored with a manual or typed or printed record.Where any law provides that information or any other matter shall be"signed",such requirment is satisfied by (sec.5)authentication through digital signature (ie,authentication of an electronic record by a subscriber,by electronic means or procedure in accordence with the provisions of sec.3).
