Respected sir,
in the year 2006 one of PIL has been filed related to hawkers on no hawkers zone and disposed off in the year 2010.
in this in the year 2010 our local body has directed to implement hawking policy strictly.
but till today they haven't done so
shall i file contempt petition in high court. Though i was not party to to this PIL.
please advise

Yes, non-implementation / disobedience of order passed in PIL attracts contempt of court.
Did you file the PIL through an advocate of as party-in-person ? If your counsel has filed what is his / her opinion and advise ?

Yes, you can move a contempt petition if the local body has been grossly negligent in implementing the directions.

You can file pil for its execution. But whether contempt petition is meant out, need to go through the judgement as well as need to follow the update status of the local body.
