If the original Deed is a registered d0cument you can apply for certifified copies of the original deed from Registration departmentt which is equal to the original. If you have a xerox copy of the original you submit the same in Registration Department and based on Registration Number, Parties names etc you'd be issued certrified ciopies. If this is not the case you are left with a photo copy which is a secondary evidence although not admissuible as direct evidence but if supoorted by the other circumstances of the case it can be taken into account as corroborative evidence and thus adnmmissible.
