division of property

my father has house jointly with his 2 other brothers. my grand parents was not alive. can my father construct a rooms without getting permission from other brothers? and is there any legal restrictions on it? can my father make separate other main entrance door?

You had put the same quarry two days ago also and it was advised you to get it partitioned first otherwise the room constructed shall also form as a part of joint property and no separate weightage may be given in future by other brothers of your father at the time of formal partition.
