division of property

please raj sir solved my problem.....my father has joint property with his 2 other brother. we live in front side i.e near main entrance of the house and my elder uncle live upside of the house and my other uncle live back side of the house.My uncle told us that you don't make any construction in front side of the house. please sir advice me that can we make it or not legally or otherwise.

Kashish! I have already advised you to get formal partition of the house property through civil court so that the dispute for ever may be resolved in the matter. If you construct any room, it shall also form as part of the joint property and no separate weightage shall be available to you so why to incur huge money if you have not to legally get any benefit of that construction.

In nutshell, file a civil suit for partition of the property and after getting formal partition of the shares, construct in your own share without any objection from any quarter.
