Domestic inquiry

(Querist) 22 October 2009 This query is : Resolved
Dear sirs,i am in a pharma company,my domestic inquiry had been going on since last 18 months, and finished on 16th sept.2009,one month has been passed but till the today, management did not send their decision, how long would i be waiting for the decision, according to the law.
Kiran Kumar (Expert) 22 October 2009
whether you have been heard in inquiry or not?

management will take its time....its not a judicial process but they are supposed to take reasonable time only.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 22 October 2009
There is no prescribed limit for sending the decision by disciplinary authority/management, however, it should be within earliest period but it the discretion of the management and not of the delinquent employee to seek the decision at least within a month as in your case. It is better to wait from the side of the management to respond rather any action on your part. May management make any fault/default which may benefit you at any later stage.... .
