Hi
I filed domestic violence case against my husband and in laws last month. Hearing date is feb 7, 2014. But amena status is showing the file is returned. I hope they intentionally not received. In ths stage, what can i do to make him appear in court...

If it is returned on ' refused' ground then it is good service. Else you have to send again.
Try to send summons through court also.

Taking steps for substitute service of summons under Order 5 Rule 20 of Civil Procedure code is after the court has satisfied with sufficient service of summons, may order to do so and on such order the service of summons through news paper publication is another procedure and your lawyer is correct.

Hello sir,
My lawyer is telling he dont know whether my in laws has received the summons or not. He said it can not be checked from his side. Hearing date is nearing. Is there any way that I can know that respondent is going to come to court or not? Please advice.
