Eligibility for government, military, private job

(Querist) 27 March 2013 This query is : Resolved
With a (serious) case pending against him in the court, is the accused eligible for government, military, private job? Or the person should have a "clean" record?

The question is only about eligibility and not about the person's capability.

Can anyone put light on this please?

This is not a case law only a news item.

This news item does not say that he is appointed in Air Force. He is free to apply and Govt is free to refuse appointment even if found selected.

Let him face interview and get selected and then he will be called upon to fill attestation form where he has to clearly state addresses during last five years (with area Thana) and questionnaire regarding criminal involvement.
