Since, the marriage was solemnized between the parties according tp Hindu Marriage Act after conversion of boy to hinduism,. Therefore, the divorced can be granted on the grounds mentioned in the Hindu Marriage Act. There is no other ways, However, the Act permits divorce by mutual consent. The parties may go for divorce by mutual consent.

well in case you want him not to treat you that way then you can file a police compliant under the domestic violence act and get your self medically checked for the report of Dr. for injuries suffered.. in case you want divorcee... well you got married on 10 September, 2010... u cant file any petition for divorcee until one year of marriage under Hindu marraige Act and plus before filing the petition both the parties should not have resided together as husband and wife is the precondition so you would be able to file for divorcee only after one year my friend...

You can file a petition under Sec.14 of the Hindu Marriage Act and seek leave of the court to seek divorce before that period explaining your difficulties and special circumstances warranting such an action . The court will come to your rescue certainly.

Is subramanian senior is correct? Section 13 not enough to file petition for divorce?
