This query is : Resolved
My grand father died intestate in year 1953. He was survived by 1 son(my father ) and 4 daughters. In 1954 the name of my father was put in 7/12 extract of the immovable property in Maharashtra state. My father died in 2000. He,vide his will has disposed of the ancestral as well his self acquired property among his heirs.
Now one of my father's sister who was born in 1943, and a minor when my grand father died, has lodged a claim in the property of her father(my grand father)in 2014.Of my father's 4 sisters, as on 2014, 2 have demised and two are surviving.
My query is
1 )Does my aunt have any right over the ancestral property of her father after 61 years.
2) if yes, does my other surviving aunt has the same right.
3)Do the other 2 aunt's(died before 1995) heirs have a right in the property of my grand father.
4) I would also like to know the share going to my aunts if they are entitled so.
Thanks and Regards
Anirudh

1. No.
2. No question arises in view of reply against your 1st query.
3. no.
4. No share is going to them as the right of daughters in the property was not recognized prior to 1956.
