Sirs,
I booked a plot in Nagpur. agreement in Nagpur.
Boking amt.rs. 50000/- paid trhough my bank account in kalyan to developer's account in nagpur
developer subsequently cancelled the agreement(reason known to him).
He gave a chq. of rs. 50000/- drawn on his bank in nagpur as refund.
i deposited chq. in kalyan.
chq. bounced reason ' drawer's signature differs' from his bank in nagpur.
whether i can file consumer complaint in kalyan (thane)
or where to file?

issue legal notice under section 138 Ni . grant him 15 days time to make payment . if he fails to make payment file complaint under section 138 NI for cheque bouncing

Issue notice to pay by Demand Draft within 15 day of receipt of Notice, failing which, threaten to file 420 CHEATING CASE. Lodging Police Complaint at Nagpur.
