Respected Experts
I have a query.I have taken admission in a designing course. While at the time of admission they said they will give us internship after completion of the course. We have paid two installments , one is of 10500 and another is of 15000.We have to pay two more installments of 15000 each.
They are telling us they are not going to give us internship and neither they are providing us any study material , i card etc.
Can we go to consumer court against that institute/
If so how?

the thing is that you will have to prove the terms agreed between the parties.
and if you are moving a matter before the Consumer Court then definitely the court will look into the documentary evidence on record....i.e. the agreement between the parties.
you may seek help of some local lawyer or some Consumer Organisation to help you out in filing the matter in proper form.

You should lodge a complaint to the Education Department of the State Govt. and send a Legal Notice to the Institute to give service as per terms. If the Institute would not comply as per notice then file a case in District Consumer Forum.

You can move consumer forum. you need sufficient documentary evidence for this.

Thanks. There was no written agreement, but they advertised in Local News paper that they will give 100% placement after completion. Now they are telling that they will give only to 2 yrs and 3 yrs degree course students. But at the time of counselling they said they will give to 1 yr diploma course. They are telling us to us to do two yrs course.
but i have no money to that ,

go through the terms of the news paper advertisement before proceeding further.
if there is any violation of the terms mentioned in the news paper advertisement, you can file a case at the district consumer forum for deficiency of service as well as unfair trade practice.
you can claim the refund + damages +cost.
preserve a copy of the news paper advertisement,as,in the absence of any written agreement, the advertisement will be an important evidence for you.
