May i know sirs that what kinds of documentary evidence is required to produce b4 the court to prove that a person is a adopted child of a couple? Is it bindinging to produce such a proof ?

If the adoption is made under a deed in writing then such an adoption deed would be the best evidence to prove the adoption.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 02 January 2012
In addition to adoption deed, one has to prove by way of education certificates, ration card, voter card, other documents, oral evidence like the natural parents had put their child in the lap of adopting parents, songs were sung at that time, function had taken place, sweets were distributed etc. etc.
Deepak Nair (Expert) 03 January 2012
Agree with the experts,
Further, it depends on how the adoption was made and what all documents such as adoption deed, affidavits of the parents, other documentary evidences regarding adoption if the child was adopted from an orphanage. Statement of witnesses if any etc.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 03 January 2012
If you are located in UP adoption could be proved only by bilateral registered deed of adoption for adoptions made after 1976.
