Sir/ Madam,
One of my cousin, she is married since 1999, She have 1 Daughter,1 Son Age:13yr & 9 Yrs respectively, Her Husband is a Central Govt. Employee but he don't look after their basic needs, he don't come to home for 10-12 days. He drinks a lot & harass them.
What is the remedial action can we take so that we get rid of him & can she is get some maintenance from his salary monthly.
Kindly reply hoe to get help.

The remedial action is divorce on the ground of mental cruelty. She can claim maintenance from him.

Considering the future of the child. Personally i will never advise you for divorce but make a claim for maintenance for her children and herself.

Brother Swapnil hope for good. Ask ur cousin sis to tolerate. Mediation may resolve ur sister's problem.
Sec 125 CrPC is better remedy to resort economic problem rather cutting nuptial tie.
