I am a tenant under the pagdi system in Mumbai at (malad west)since 1970.my room are my mother name .he is dead in 23 march 1999 & my father are also dead in 14 feb 2006 recant my family are residing there. i m regular pay rent by chq. to landlord recant i paying APRL-2012.but recant landlord are not accept rent me only he is say not u my tenant so i not received Ur chq.This building are 60 years. Plz suggest me.plz urgent ans.
If i not sent rent by post . than how is regalt.and which month in i sent rent by post

in whose name rent receipts are issued? how can you say you are tenant since 1970 if room is in your mother name?
have all the cheques issued earlier beeing encashed by landlord ?

Thankas sirji, all rents cheques are pass from my bank a/c.only rent stop from may2012. can i sent money order ?.recently landlord man i given me one page by hand in the page matter is he is want my all brother & sister N.O.C.& other but this page are not official letter that page is only word typing & no mansion in landlord name & my name also .

llandlord is right . it is immaterial whether you were making payment . room was in name of your mother . she was a tenant . on her death landlord will trnasfer rent receipt in name of legal heirs . he will need NOC from others before transferring in name of legal heir.

send money by a demand draft for rentals. with covering letter are only post & in register Ad ? why i am asking this because before he is not recd register Ad . that what i do .?

i have told you to contact a local lawyer . for transfer of rent receipt landlord will want noc from legal heirs . you can continue staying in premises .
covering letter for rent should mention period for which rent is issued .send it by regd Post . enclosed demand drfat for rent
