Police asking for handwriting document

The police has investigated in fraud case filed by me. Now the investigating officers asks for original document which was written by the accused for forensic laboratory test. My query is that I want to give this handwritten document to police through court keeping in view its safety and receipt. Can I submit this document to police through court. Please advice

Whenever you give any document to the police for the purpose of investigation the police would give a seizure list. So proceed without any fear.

You can get the receipt of that original document but cannot refuse to do so and there is no such law to make fulfillment of your sweet desire.
