plz Tell me that can a coplaint can be filed by the legal haier of decesed person if the electricy bill is contineous sending by electricity department while the decesed person disconnected that connection and have a receiving of disconnection.

if the consumer is dead and electricity connection disconnected how will elctricity company recover dispputed amount of bill .

let the electricity compmay take recovery proceedings against legal heirs if it so desires then dispute the genuimne ness of the bill

For lodging a complaint in the consumer forum, there should a dispute reg the services rendered by the company. Mere issuing the bills for electricity by itself does not constitute a dispute unless u had raised an objection in writing with the company and the company failed to rectify the mistake. So first write to the company to discontinue the bills as the connection had been disconnected during the life time of ur father and also call upon the company to cancel all the bills and also refund the security deposit kept with the company.
