What is alternative for reliving letter

Hi All

Could you please suggests an alternative to relieving letter

Can we give affidavit as an alternative to relieving letter as I have resignation acceptance from Hr and Manager

Or any other option as I have not relieving letter and due to due amount company deny it

A written confirmation of acceptance of your resignation is enough.
If they through e-mail confirms it then it is enough.
You need a written confirmation of acceptance of resignation be it or not in the form of Relieving Letter.

Relieving letter signifies that employee has resigned and nothing is due against employee.


While service certificate is mentioned in enactments, the relieving letter is a practice and bothers many employees.


The salary slip of each month/FnF statement/Form16/PF a/c slips/ESIC card/copy of resignation with POD/acceptance of resignation etc may amount as good as relieving letter/service certificate.


The next employer may accept an undertaking from you that you have resigned and are no more employee in any other establishment.


The next employer in any case is not liable to pay dues to past employer.


However can you explain what are your pending dues with last employer and why?


Or approach an able counsel specializing in labor-service matters with all docs/communications/record.

Well sir you asked about dues so previous employer took sing on letter of agreement which contain one line only if I leave company before 1 yr then they will charge me 50k due to which they also blocked my salary even I served notice period and also got Hr and manager approval for my resignation request
