Court cannot grant excess amount of maintenence which is not claimed by the petitioner in her petition u/s 125 of cr.p c.Pls gave citation in respect of that.Thanks.

Law is opposite to your understanding.

Court has vide powers in this respect. Family Court can grant more than the demanded maintenance if the evidence is found accordingly and justice is meted out.

sir I need some citation where maintenence not enhanced. Enhancing citation is very easy to found, but I need opposite view.Thanks.

Enhancement/ Non-enhancement of maintenance depends on various factor. It is the discretion of court considering the earning, status and other things of the parties.

One's case must based on facts and citations can be used to support the case. One can not entirely rely on citation when the facts are otherwise.
