Pay protection

Sir,

I joined this Autonomous body in Jan-2009 at GP 6600/-

resigned from Scale-II officer in a bank.

My query is where offer letter was given Pay scale was Rs. 10,000-325-15200 in CDA pattern under 5cpc.

and my BP + DA in bank was more
But when i joined this organization due to 6CPC it was more(GP 6600) and bank was waiting for revision.

however after revision made effective in bank it was revised less.

my question is whether my pay was protected or not as at time getting offer letter i was drawing (BP+DA) and how to compare it.
