(Querist) 19 July 2014 This query is : Resolved 
After recieving permanent alimony of 1500000 for her and daughter in mutual divorce and mentioning no claim in future in joint affidavit to high court .Can she claim maintenance or can child can claim maintenance from me in future.But she has mentioned in joint affidavit that she will have no claim in future and nor their daughter after receiving the permanent alimony.wHAT IS THE MEANING OF PERMANENT ALIMONY THEN

Please elborate the circumstances under which she can claim more maintenance.Increase in salary ,medical emergency,increase in house rent etc are some of them.Is it better to pay alimony monthly rather than lumpsum .

No definite opinion can be given about the change in the circumstances. May be medical or admission of the child, marriage of child or any other extra burden.
