Rights in grandFather property.

My Granfather purchased a house in south delhi. He died in 1989 without writing any ' WILL '.My grandfather had a four childern ,two sons, & two sisters.My father & my uncle had got registered the house on their names by taking N O C from both the sister in 1999.
I got married in 2006. My wife left me along with my baby son ,after one year & she filed several criminal complaintS against me & my family.

MY QUERY: CAN MY WIFE CLAIM MY SON RIGHTS IN ABOVE STATED PROPRTY.

since is ancestral property after transfer in the name of your father, his share in the said property became his self acquired property, till he is alive, he is absolute owner of said share, in case, he died without any will, it will devolve in all his legal heirs equally, you will inherit your share only, the right of you wife and son will come after your death. if during this period, your marriage is dissolved, your wife will loose her status a your legal heir but your son will remain your legal heir along with other your legal heirs.

Not till your father is alive. Not even till you remain alive. Your son's claim would become valid only after your death.
