SIR, KINDLY NOTE THAT COMPLAINENT WILL BE INTERESTED TO PROLONG THE MATTER AND HARASS THE INNOCENT ACCUSED FOR YEARS.MAY BE TWO YEARS TO EVEN MORE THAN TEN YEARS DEPENDING UP ON THE ENMITY OF THE PARTIES. IT IS UP TO THE ACCUSED TO FACE THE TRIAL OR FILE A WP IN HC AND GET THE FALSE CASE QUASHED.GOOD LUCK.

there is no set time frame for this purpose...however in the year 2005 Supreme Court of India did give some directions for the quick disposal of matters but these were not mandatory directions.
so it all depends upon amount of evidence involved, burden upon courts and finally upon the involvement of the parties.
