This query is : Resolved
I have an argument posted for 20/09/2011 in alimony case. What is the procedure to postpone the date, as I am not ready with final documents yet. Is there any way to postpone the date, as the petitioner would not want to postpone the date.
Reply ASAP.
Thanks and regards,

Getting adjournment is not an issue.. If you can convince the court mean court will adjourn your case

All are right you need to move an adjournment application affixed with court fees of Rs.3/=
showing a convincing ground.

It all depends on how the other side opposes the application, last week Mumbai HC fined an advocate by Rs five thousand for seeking time and with a warning.
