dear experts i am glad to inform you that i had been selected a commission of oaths by the High court of Madras. At this juncture i would like you you to inform me what are the procedures to be followed by me as a commissioner of oaths and also please guide me with the relevant provisions which govern the same and also detail about the various G.O.s with in TN which had to be adhered with regard to the commissioner of oaths. Hope you consider my query a Brother advocate though it is partly academical in nature. Thank you sirs

Congrats. You should obtain this information from the appointing authority as the responsibilities from High Court to High court are different.
Generally such scheme is attached with the appointment letter. You can even demand it from the office of Registrar of your High Court.

thank you sirs, with all your wishes i am confident i will use my post to the utmost for the service to the public. One humble request sirs, please don't deny as it is a academic query... i.e. what is the difference between Notary Public and Commissioner of Oats. Please answer my query. As i had appointed as a commissioner of oaths i asked the same to many of my colleagues they were not able to explain, but, I staunchly believe in LCI panel, so please tell me the difference between the both.
