It is not entirely illegal. They have sanctioned limited use of roads. They have been issued tehbazaari licenses. If they violate the terms thereof MCD is the authority to complain as aforesaid.

It is weekly bazar held by Muncipal Corporation Delhi with their sanctions for various areas as fixed on particular day in a week. It is legal and valid. If it is overcrowded or any untoward incident take place, you may complaint with MCD. The bazar is held for in the Public Interest.

They pay municipal tax as per the area encroached, on the specified day, on specified area. The RWA of Sector 7 RK Puram has tried 10 years back to remove tha failed. You may file PIL if distrubed. Public at large is happy with the arrangement. They get their daily needs at weekly intervals. The sell tapstry, fabric, crockery, curlery, spices, footweak, hosiery, cosmetics, jwellery, decrations, dhoop/agarbatti, festival needs etc. They create ancellary business for the suppliers of teah, tables, batteries etc. They contribute to per capita income of the country.

These bazaars are legal under Tehbazaari system.

They pay due taxes of MCD.
