Hi Sir,
I got to know that there is no registration for surplus lands, but some people are registering that lands in sub-register office by giving bribe. Is there any separate provision to register surplus lands. I have two 60 yards land bits in that area, when i went for registration, the person clearly told me that there is no registration for surplus land, but he told me if u give me bribe then it will be possible.
If i give him bribe is that my registration is valid ???
Please let me know
Thanks,
J. Srinivas

It is all bungling that is going on.There can not be "surplus land".There can not be land without owner. If individual is not owner then government or a local body would be owner of it,and just that same being adjacent to a private land ,one might be using it without title because of the neglect of the owner or it's agency/executive.

Sir Thank you so much for your valuable answer. Sir here the situation is different. Our land is there for the past 50 years and nearly 4 thousand families are residing there . All the local politicians are playing the drama for making the fraud registrations. Please let me know the surplus registrations provision if anything is there.
Thanks,
J. Srinivas

"surplus area" means the area in excess of the permissible area and it is declared as surplus of an individual if he is possessing more than prescribed limit so if a person is holding valid title deed then his land cannot be declared as surplus without going through the relevant provisions and his subsequent sale cannot be denied legally.
