The property left behind by your grandfather will be shared equally by his sons (hoping that he does not have any daughters and his wife i.e. your grandmother is no more) i.e. 1/3rd share.
If 'a' had died, then you and your mother can demand a's 1/3rd share from the property.

The property of grandfather would be inherited by his sons and other legal heirs if any (wife, mother, daughter). You have a claim from the share of your father, if father dies intestate, along with other legal heirs of your father.

It is believed that Hindu Succession Laws shall apply in your case.
You and your mother can stake claim to your father’s share.
You have posted that:
“my grandfather(who is no more)having 3 sons(a, b, c) one of them is also no more”
If the Son that has died was unmarried/had no child and his mother is also not alive, then his share ( since ClassI legal heir are not available) may devolve upon ClassII legal heirs……………..and your mother is one of them.
