greetings
i am a medical graduate from a minority institute in India. i got admission as an all India general candidate. at the time of admission i was made to sign a bond for 2 years which i am supposed to fulfill after my graduation from the institute.i got no benefit at the time of selection for the seat nor during the study period and i do not wish to do the bond service like the students who belong to the minority group. is not such a bond illegal because am not allowed to appear for post graduate exams? moreover i got no benefits unlike the minority group students at the time of selection.

Without seeing the Bond in whole it would be difficult to comment.

Whether you were got admission on the basis of open entrance examination by any statutory institution or State or by the institution itself. Whether there were any prior such condition before entrance examination or this condition was imposed after qualifying entrance examination. The reply of your query will depend on these question. However, It is made clear that if it was imposed after qualifying the entrance examination, this conditional is not only illegal but unconstitutional and can be challenged.
