I was selected for appointment in 2011 with deemed autonomous hospital under the government of Karnataka under category 2 b . however due to some reasons I did not join at that time. One year later I wanted to join the job , but was informed that only next time when there will be a call for the post I can be considered. Now , it is 2015 and i am jobless. What may I do now ? can I put a case for my appointment ?

If the recruitment for the year 2011 closed, you cannot make any claim and you have to apply afresh when the advertisement is made.

@author, generally in any state Government, the period for joining times is only 30 days. It will be extended another 60 days in extra-ordinary cases. After that no one can claim on the previous selection/appointment.

Merely because you are jobless after skipping the offer, that does not mean that they will advertise the post without any vacancy or without need to fill the vacancy.

I consulted a local lawyer. he told that I can claim for the appointment. As my name is in selection list and when I went to join after 1 year they said me when there will b a call then I can b taken. there is going to b a call now as one vacancy is there , after recent retirement of a doctor
