Sir,
I am presently serving a Engg Co at Calcutta where I joined about a year back. the duration of my probation was 06 (Six) months and they were to give me a written confirmation letter , but in the event of absence of such letter, the probation would be deemed to be contd ( as per appointment letter) In my case am yet to receive any written confirmation letter after laspe of more than one year and now they are asking me quit with by September 07, 2011, with full salary for July-August 2011 and pro rated basis salary till September 07, 2011. But as per my appointment letter I am actually entitled to 3 month noticed for both end would served and full salary for the 3 month noticed period are payable instead they are offering for 2 months only . Please advise what I should do? since its apprehension that they may serve me with termination letter as I am not a confirmed employee of theirs and such termination letter may bring a black spot in my career and future search for a job. Your advice at the earliest would be of immense help and very much appreciated

Yes that possibility is there.
The offer seems to be good as the management can take advantage of non regularity of your job.
The contents of the job contract would have been helpful to advise more on this aspect.
