Cpc. (suit fo damages)

when there is fall of electic wire on ladyand she sustain enjury and hospitalise and spend huge amount when she is hospitalised,then she file suit for damages against m.s.e.d.co.l.and at the time of her evidince whether medical bill which she produced can be exibited or there is need to examine medical owner and dr.
pls explain according to evidience act with provision and if possible then with case laws.

Medical bills alone are not sufficient but treating doctor and shop owner are required to be examined. One similar case law was posted in LCI. You may also go through:

you need to examine doctor to show the nature of injuries, treatment precribed by doctor , expenses incurred by lady for her treatment . similarly if medical buills are produced you will have to examine chemist from whom medicines were procured and bill issued

Only filling bills of medicine is not sufficient you also need to produce the dr.treating to corroborate the prescription and chemist to formally prove his sale unless admitted by your op,which certainly he would not.
