What are the powers of the Police for interrogation of witnesses? Can the Police call a witness to the Police station for interrogation without informing him about the case/matter involved?

The police is having all such power to call the witness. It is the duty of the witness to cooperate with the police in their investigation.

Yes police have the power to interrogate the witness by calling the witness to PS. It is the duty of all citizen to coperate the police and they can also record the statements of witness u/s 161 of cr.pc
