Sir/Madam,
I live in Udupi District in Karnataka. I own around 5 acres of legal private land. Recently, I have learnt a person, who is infact a rich person had acquired 4.80 acres of land adjacent to my land under Akrama-Sakrama Scheme about 13 years back. Nobody lives in that land, and there is no agricultural use of it either. At the time of denotification of the land to the name of that person, it was nothing but barren land.
I believe he may have got it denotified to his name due to some political influence.
I have a strong urge that no matter whatever the cost, i have to stop the land scheme for the poor and the needy being misused by the rich and the greedy.
Please advise me on how i can proceed legally on this.

raise the issue in press . contact some journalist and request him to publish it in newspapers .
use RTi to find reasons for denotifcation of said land

Thank you sir for your valuable suggestion. Where can I obtain the form for RTI for this cause? and where should I submit it?
By the way, is there any scope of filing a petition directly to the court through a lawyer in this regard?

You can file a WRIT.
But first get the documents through RTI to see whether the denotification was as per rules or not.

For filing any petition directly, you need substantial evidence to prove that the person concerned is trying to misuse the scheme. For this purpose you have to gather details from authentic sources. RTI is the proper course of action. Even for giving a paper publication u need the authentic details. Otherwise u may be hauled up for defamation.
