Learned Advocate this is my query… please suggest me.
One of my relative is having a house and a commercial shop in Chennai, this property belongs to a TRUST and the trust handed over the property during 1934-35 (Vacant Land), and my relatives build a home and a shop over there and they themselves residing in the home and carrying the business in the commercial shop for the building what they are constructed they are paying property tax and even paying the rent to the court because now the TRUST is not in existence, A week back Deputy Collector/ Commissioner issued a notice to them stating that they have acquired the building for Chennai Metro Project and to leave the place within 1 month that is 25/07/2012, and Govt will not provide any kind of compensation. Please suggest them this is the only property they have to carry their livelihood.

File a WRIT. You are entitled for compensation being an evacuee.
