Sir,
I have given a lat on monthly rent of Rs. 20,000 at Janakpuri,Delhi.Lease is registered in court.Tenant is not giving rent from last 4 months.
His son has given 2 cheques of Rs. 20,000 each as rent for two months but both cheque bounced due to :Insufficient fund".
What is legal recourse to this & how much time will be taken by court to settle the case.
What will be the total legal expenses & can I claim legal expenses along with rent arrear. Can the son be imprisoned for cheque bounce even if he is ready to pay.If not then can fine be imposed upon him even if he is ready to pay

issue legal notice to licensee .
since your leave and license agreement is duly stamped and registered invoke the clauses ,mentioned in agreement regarduing non payment of license fees .
there must be a clause in agreement that if rent is not paid on time licensee can be called upon to vacate the premises .
terminate the agreement and ask him to vacate the premises . contact a local lawyer in Delhi
