Difference between suit for possesion and suit for eviction

Can anyone please tell the difference between suit for possesion and suit for eviction in Delhi?

The Pigeon in your hand in a physical possession. suit to keep with u.

Someone claims it to be his Pigeon and ask you to release it, is eviction. suit to free it.
