respected sir/mam,
in 2010 two groups of my friend were fighting in front of my house. i intervined n stoped them to fighting. both parties go to police ..one party put my name in the matter....police registers 751 against both parties but against my name 750........after few months sdm court discharged both the parties...at that time i was doing MBA....now i m selected in a bank ..my joining is ahead...but i fear i will reject in police verification. i m in dep depression ..kindy tell me that what can and what should i do in this matter so i can do a job.........i will be very thanful for ur suggestions

Check whether you are also discharged in the case or not.
If yes then you have nothing to worry.

If you were not prosecuted in that case, you need not worry about police verification.

firstly thanks to all of u........yes I was discharged in that case.I dont no whether I was prosecuted or not.. we simply go to sdm office ..signed in the register and then free.. after 4 - 5 months they discharged us......now should I have to mention about same at my joining time in bak in joining form or it is safe to avoid the same.......

You need not mention anything. When discharged without trial; in the court of law that means you were not prosecuted.

respected all...actual problem is...
in the application form in a particular clause in which they asked......
whether any prosecution/detension/fine /conviction/ sentence against u has been awarded..........i applied NO ( my answere was no).....
Today i met two advocates...i told them that a case was registerd againt me unser section 107/150.........i was not arresTed....i myself went to SDM office...and got a bail....i went there for 6 to 7 times....they just took my signatures...at last SDM OFFICE discharged me.....TODAY ADVOCATES told me that u was discharged but u was PROSECUTED
SO NOW I CAME TO KNOW THAT I WAS PROSECUTED
now at time of joining what should i answer the same question..YES OR NO. this is my problem because in application form i answered NO
when inquiry go to police what will be their feedback....

you should mention that you were prosecuted but discharged . you can clarify that you answered No as you were not aware of legal position .

It is clear that you were discharged from the case even before any legal proceedings were conducted, so the question of prosecution does not arise.

thanks every one....this means my answer should be " NO " for the following questions in attestation form...

a) Have you ever been arrested ?
b) Have you ever been prosecuted ?
c) Have you ever been kept under detention?
d) Have you ever been bound down?
e) Have you ever been fined by a court of Law ?

what was the time gap between the event and discharge by SDM. how you were out of custody during the period.

sudhir sir, case filed on 31/5/10 and we discharged on 26/11/10. so time gap is approximately 5 months. we were not arrested but summoned . we went sdm office and got bail. so we were out of custody on bail.
prior on 4/5/10 fir ( u/s 323,506,427, 148, 149 ) was registered on second party on my complaint.
so police put 107/150 on both parties on 31/5/10 to prevent further fight and maintain peace.

they summoned us but we went their before they issue us summons...and we were out of jail on bail..........my uncle gave photocopy of his bike Registration certificate for bail purpose.. i dont know i was bound or not..?
on our side we were 4 people. 3 students and 1 bank manager ( govt employee)that time i was studying in MBA
they never asked any questi on in that time period...we did not face sdm even a single time . only clerk took our signatures
police filed 107/150 on us through KALANDRA

No hav not contacted the thana , i hav contacted the sdm office.they told me the case has been discharged. they showed me the register to where DISCHARGED was written....
I can contact to thana .....tell me what should i know from them ?
