Government job police verification

(Querist) 28 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
hello

I got selected in the central government job, They have sent a form asking is there is any case FIR registered against me or pending in the court.

Two year back my Bhabhi filed 498A and DVC case against my brother and parents all have taken Anticipatory Bail from trial court but in the Fir my name also she has mentioned as i provoked my brother for additional dowry but i am not on bail or accused in the said case. Just my name is written in the FIR.

Now I am worried that my Name in the FIR Which is not as an accused is sufficient proof for police ?

First check whether your name has been mentioned in charge sheet or not. If it is not mentioned then you have nothing to worry.

hello Barman Sir,

Till now Charge sheet is not filled,So is it going to favour me or not.

It is better if you are not charge sheeted. If you have been charge sheeted, even then, it should not be any hindrance to get a job. If you face such problem approach to High court.

It is better not to hide any thing while filling such form. Mention in detail and if possible also file your lawyers opinion, although it may not help much, but may help in forming an opinion.
