I want to marry a girl we both are muslim, we both love each other.
My parents are ready for the marriage but her parents are not agreeing.
I live in Delhi she lives in Mumbai, we want to marry each other without letting our parents know.
We are thinking of doing nikaah first,
Is the nikaah certificate by the priest legal can her parents take any action on me, she supports me.
Is doing nikaah only is sufficient?
If it's not sufficient then, what should i do?
Please tell me proper procedure,
And the main point is we don't want that our parents get to know about our marriage.

Nikah entered into by a woman herself, without the permission of her wali (GAURDIAN OR FATHER), is invalid and void. The Hanafi ruling on this matter is that a woman can enter into a marital contract by herself without permission from her wali,only if parents or gaurdians are not there.
“Nikah of a woman without permission of father is valid but if this woman marries without permission in the absence of a valid legal reason, then she is sinful. Firstly, it is a sin to displease the father without any valid cause. Secondly, to marry without permission of the wali is also a shameless act and not void of sin.” according to the Muslim Law.
