I am getting married on 27th November which is going to get solomised in the state of karnataka with all the traditions of hindu marriage.
My Question is where should and would my marriage will get registered ?
As of now the marriage is getting registered in BMC office the offical says they cannot registered my marriage as it would get solomised out side Maharashtra but we both the boy and girl resides in maharashta (domiciled) by birth

Marriage Memorandum Under Maharashtra Regulation Marriage Bureaus and Registration of Marriages 1998
Applicant has to submit the memorandum of marriage forms ( which are supplied in the office of Marriage officer Mumbai.) affixed with Rs. 100 court fee stamp
Document to be attached :
Bride & Bridegroom Age proof: Leaving Certificate OR Passport OR Birth Certificate R Domicile Certificate OR PAN Card
Bride & Bridegroom Residential Proof : Ration Card OR Passport OR Election Card OR Light Bill and Telephone Bill of own name.
Three (3)Witness Proof :- Ration Card OR Passport OR Election Card OR Driving Licence OR Govt. Identity Card.
Wedding Card
In case of non availability of Wedding card Rs 100=00 Stamp Paper Affidavit of both husband wife and three witnesses is required
Rs. 100=00/- Court Fee Stamp
Photographs of both Bridegroom / Bride

it does not mention that marraige has to be performed in maharashtra only . what it says is you must have a marriage card or an affidavit will do .
you can have small marriage function in mumbai to meet the requirements .

Now the marriage registration is been done at the ward office of BMC they say my marriage cannot be registered here as it is not going to solominised here ?
Where should i register my marriage?

the BMC offical denies registereing it they say it is not solominied here so you cannot register here i.e BMC 'R' Ward ?

the requirement as per the act is marriage card.
as advised you can have small marraige function in mumbai . have cards printed for said marriage in mumbai

Ask them if any law is clearly indicated to refuse if the marriage was held in out the jurisdiction or state.Once you satisfy with the details of it , then you follow the advise of mr sethi.
