Transit bail

All learned members. What is transit bail and from where it can be opted. Also, if possible, pls. cite some cases on it.

if the warrants of arrest are from other state. The magistrate of your local jurisdiction wherein you would be produced , can grant you transit bail if the Court is satisfied.

Transit bail or trnasit remeand menas the order of the court which has no jurisdiction to try the offence but the accused person was produced before it because it has jurisdiction over the area under a particular police station from where he was arrested. When he does not grant bail but remand the accused under custody only for the time of his trnasit it is called transit remand. Simiilarly when the bail is granted only for the tme of transit to produce the accused beore the actual court of trial ,it is called transit bail.
