share of property in huf

i am married women, married earlier to 1985 . will i get any share in my fathers huf property along with my two brothers on partition? if so how much?

Unlike in the case of an ancestral property, where by sheer of birth in the family, one gets a birth right in the property, in the case of HUF one has to be included as a member of the HUF. Therefore, first and foremost one has to know whether you are a member of the HUF are not. If you are a member of the HUF, irrespective of when you got married, you shall definitely have an equal share in the HUF property at the time of partition.
Therefore, you may have to consult a lawyer with all your documents to know as to where you stand in the matter.
