Calling witnesses

THE LIST OF WITNESSES TO BE EXAMINED AS PRE SUMMONING EVIDENCE HAS BEEN FILED BEFORE COURT.

THE APPRENHENSION IS THAT, THE WITNESSES WONT APPEAR ON THEIR OWN.

UNDER WHICH SECTION, THE COURT CAN ISSUE SUMMONS TO SUCH WITNESSES AT PRE SUMMONING STAGE ?

Yes the court can issue summons to the witnesses at presummoning stage, if the court had taken the case on file u/s 202 cr.p.c.

I say the section which permits the magistrate to take it on file. Mr.Arvind says about the sections regarding the summon procedures. So, both are correct.
