(Querist) 04 November 2012 This query is : Resolved
hi all,
kindly advice.

Lease agreement with DLF Mall Vasant Kunj got expired and new Lease Agreement not signed yet by us bcoz we would like to quit and looking for new place so delaying it to sign. so now if v woud like to send termination notice den it would be as per the given time limit of 6 months as per agreement, does any of the agreement has any value- the signed one but expired or agreement nt signed yet,,,do v hv to follow any agreement. Am i at any risk at this time, how i could get harm,,,,they do disconnect electricity aswell so if i restore it n go for stay order will it help me,,,,,,what else can be done. Not interested to stay any more coz they agreed to reduce rent in a meeting but after tat stick to increase rent 15% as per agreement (all the terms n conditions will remain same in new agreement as well). there is no sale so we prefer to move out, but these guys not understanding us. the small step of mine will affect DLF.

PLEASE SUGGEST

your agreement has come to an end . on expiry of agreement you have to hand over vacant posession of premises which you have admittedly not done .

in the event of failure to deliver posession on time you will have to pay penal rent for the period you continue to be in authorised posession as provided in your agrement . contact a local lawyer .

If the tenure of lease had already expired then you need not send them any notice anymore.
Do not buy time any more. move put to the new place.
However you have to bear the rent for the time you stayed in the property.
