Transfer of flat

Dear Experts, Background - One of the member died, than MC members transferred flat in name of his wife. Now, wife wants to gift flat to one of the son. Son approaches present MC with gift deed. MC seek legal opinion, which said mother gift deed is accepted along with release deed from all other brother & sisters. The member fight with MC for directly transfer of flat without release deed. MC members refused to do so. Now, after 1 & half years later he has submitted release deed & gift deed to MC along with covering letter which says that MC should transfer flat immediately to his name or else he will approach the court with complaint that MC is harassing him for no reason. We member have no problem to transfer property if documents are in line. Can any person force MC to complete work any task with his time frame? All members are working person & they have to manage their time on week ends.

MC was right in not transferring flat in name of son on basis of gift deed. wife was merely a trustee for other legal heirs .
now that he has submitted release deed and other documents society can transfer flat in name of donee . society can take its time . scrutinize documents and then transfer . you can reply to transferree that flat would be transferred after perusal of documents in next meeting of MC

Nobody can force you to act in time frame. Scrutinise all the papers and then take a decision. Take help of local advocate to see the respective paers

You can get the documents vetted by a lawyer and take his opinion. May send an interim reply that the same would be done in due time. They can not force you in any way to do some work in fixed time frame however, undue delay must be avoided.
